ME Engineer/ Senior Engineer (NPD/ Process optimize) - Cu Chi (Having Shuttle Bus)

JOB SUMMARY
ME Project Engineer/ Senior Engineer is responsible for leading and executing manufacturing engineering projects to improve production efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support new product development (NPD), process optimization, and the development of robust manufacturing solutions for outdoor equipment and tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
- Lead and manage manufacturing projects related to outdoor products, from prototype to mass production.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring cost-effective production.
- Equipment, Gauge, and Fixture design for manufacturing outdoor products.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to design high-quality equipment/machines/fixtures.
- Work closely with NPI, IE, production, quality, and US teams to support New Product
- Development (NPD) and ensure a smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
- Conduct process analysis, time studies, and failure mode analysis (FMEA) to identify and implement improvements.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation techniques to enhance efficiency.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues and provide solutions to enhance production reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, especially for durable, weather-resistant products.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for outdoor power tools
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and best practices.
