Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (Plastic Parts, $1300, ID 21353)
Design and develop 2D/3D plastic components for electrical and electronic products.
Conduct R&D activities and apply DOE methodologies to improve product performance and support new product development.
Collaborate with
Electrical Engineers to ensure designs meet electrical, thermal, mechanical, and safety requirements.
Select appropriate engineering plastics based on product performance, manufacturability, and industry standards.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and global R&D centers to support project execution.
Apply DFM, DFSS, and DFMEA principles to optimize product design and manufacturability.
Coordinate with mold suppliers to optimize tooling design and resolve molding-related issues.
Perform engineering analysis, prepare technical drawings, BOMs, and maintain engineering documentation.
Support material selection and continuous product improvement through collaboration with suppliers and sourcing teams.
Perform other duties as assigned by the
Engineering Manager.
Male or female, under 45 years old.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field.
At least 6 years of experience in a similar role within engineering plastics or related manufacturing industries.
Strong expertise in R&D for coils and magnetic components.
Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Creo.
Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a technical environment.
