Design, develop, and improve tooling, jigs, and fixtures for automated manufacturing and assembly processes, particularly for Connector, Cable Assembly, and Optical Connection applications.
Develop mechanical concepts and solutions for assembly fixtures, inspection fixtures, and automation equipment.
Manage equipment and tooling installation, debugging, commissioning, and production ramp-up.
Work closely with suppliers on tool/fixture fabrication, machine build, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Manage engineering drawings, technical documentation, and ECN changes.
Research and apply new technologies and mechanical solutions to manufacturing equipment and processes.
