Engineering Manager & MEP Engineer
CDI Engineering is a fast-growing engineering consulting firm providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services throughout the United States. We pursue engineering excellence with efficiency and dedication. Our main office is located in Irvine, CA, with an expanding international presence. We are now hiring for two positions at our new Ho Chi Minh City office.
Position 1: MEP Engineering Manager
We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineering Manager to lead and oversee our Vietnam engineering team. This is a leadership role responsible for managing day-to-day engineering operations, coordinating with the US office, and ensuring project quality and delivery standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of MEP engineers in the Ho Chi Minh City office
- Oversee the preparation and quality review of mechanical and electrical construction documents
- Coordinate project assignments, timelines, and deliverables with the US-based engineering team
- Ensure all designs comply with American codes, regulations, and CDI standards
- Mentor and develop junior engineers through continuous training and guidance
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Vietnam team and US Professional Engineers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
- Minimum 5 years of MEP engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with US engineering standards preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- English proficiency required
Position 2: MEP Engineer (Entry Level)
We are seeking motivated entry-level Mechanical and
Electrical Engineers to join our growing Ho Chi Minh City team. Candidates will receive continuous training and work under the supervision of licensed Professional Engineers on a wide variety of US-based projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare mechanical and electrical construction documents using AutoCAD under American codes and regulations
- Support engineering design across various building types including residential, commercial, mixed-use, retail, hotel, restaurant, factory, and more
- Work under the supervision of Professional Engineers and the Engineering Manager
- Participate in ongoing training programs to develop technical skills and knowledge of US standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
- Fresh graduates and entry-level candidates welcome - training provided
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD preferred
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced international engineering environment
- English proficiency (basic to intermediate) preferred

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
