Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

The Opportunity
As a Maintenance Engineer at Hitachi Energy Vietnam, you will be responsible for executing maintenance activities to ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities operate safely, reliably, and efficiently at optimal performance levels. Specializing in mechanical, mechatronic, or related disciplines, you will support preventive and corrective maintenance programs, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement to enhance manufacturing productivity and operational excellence.
How You'll Make an Impact
Your background:
• You will execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.
• You will perform troubleshooting and resolve equipment or facility issues promptly to minimize downtime and improve production performance.
• You will support maintenance planning and execution for production lines, machines, and facilities, including new equipment installations.
• You will conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
• You will maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation to support performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
• You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that optimize maintenance processes, equipment uptime, and overall productivity.
• You will follow Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and procedures to promote a safe and compliant workplace.
• You will manage maintenance tools, spare parts, and work areas effectively, ensuring readiness, organization, and inventory accuracy.
