Main Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical and Maintenance information support in the fields of periodic and Major Maintenance work, Planning, Equipment condition monitoring, failure analysis, Plant Modifications, Spare Parts control, evaluation of Maintenance performance, equipment availability, maintenance cost, daily organizing the work orders through CMMS System, supervises the execution of major overhauls, specific repairs and trouble-shooting, whenever necessary.
- Mechanical Maintenance work covers the following areas: Steam Turbines, Boilers, FGD, Lime stone system, Ash handling system, Vertical Pumps (Displacement pumps), Centrifugal Pumps (multi stages), Valves, Pipelines, filters, Storage Tanks, Waste water treatment plant and Condensate etc. Potable/DM Water, Instrument Air Station, EDG, Generators Fire Fighting Equipment, HVAC, etc.
- The incumbent will be responsible for providing Technical and Maintenance information support in the fields of periodic and Major Maintenance work, Planning, Equipment condition monitoring, failure analysis, Plant Modifications, Spare Parts control, evaluation of Maintenance performance, equipment availability, maintenance cost, daily organizing the work orders through CMMS System, supervises the execution of major overhauls, specific repairs and trouble-shooting whenever necessary and contractors management.
* HSE Role:
1. To ensure that all personnel in the section are aware of and comply with Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.
2. To ensure personnel are aware that it is expected all work carried out by them adheres to and "Best Industry Practices".
3. Develop methods for specific tasks, Risk Assess these tasks and JHA in conjunction with Safety of people and plant equipment.
4. To ensure full adherence to Safety Regulations and Govt / Local prevailing Laws and Regulations.
5. Liaise with Safety Officers on all safety matters, participate in the Section regular Safety Meetings, undertake inspection audits and monitor safety standards within his assigned area.

6. Perform supervisory function as established by the management & guide lines of Team leaders
* Maintenance Programs:
7. Maintenance planning : Coordinate with the Maintenance Planning Engineer and other operating sections on Mong Duong 2 in preparing planned maintenance programs (Periodic Inspections & Major Overhauls) for all plant equipment, installations, pipelines, vessels etc..., installed within the assigned area of responsibility to ensure optimum equipment availability and economical maintenance cost.
8. Equipment Condition Monitoring: Assess the condition of equipment and facilities by evaluating the results of the periodic condition surveys, performance checks on the plant equipment. Necessary action to be taken with reference to data and analysis results.
9. Failure Analysis: Assist in the failure analysis of equipment and facilities by properly collecting evidences and recommending remedial corrective measures. Analysis to be carried out with reference to plant DCS event, records and History.
10. Maintenance Performance Evaluation: Periodically prepare reports and studies to assist in evaluating the performance of the maintenance activities within the section, monitoring the equipment availability, performance contract manpower and maintenance cost, which requires setup of equipment history system, monitoring the maintenance planning and feed-
back information from CMMS system to define the required work order information reporting and retrieval system.
11. Using CMMS, contribute in solving problems of the system & ensure quality of procedures and extract various reports. Planning of daily maintenance (preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance) and planned outage jobs.

12. Recommends to the Team leader the required remedial actions and Plant Modifications, supported by results of condition monitoring inspection reports, performance evaluation, CMMS reporting and operational / maintenance information.
13. Raise Plant Modification Requests, preliminary engineering documents and alternatives. Comments on engineering packages and fully comply with operational and maintenance requirements.
14. Coordinate installation, prepares punch lists and assist Team Leader to ensure smooth and safe commissioning and handover of plant modifications and new projects.
