* JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop test plans and procedures for mechanical components, to evaluate strength, fatigue, and performance.
Conduct mechanical tests, including tensile, compression, fatigue, and vibration tests, using specialized equipment.
Perform ad-hoc testing for abnormalities identified during inspections.
Analyze test results to identify defects, performance issues, or non-conformities, ensuring compliance with automotive standards and customer specifications.
Prepare detailed test reports and documentation, including photo documentation for cut parts or failure investigations, to support quality audits and IATF compliance.
Verify and combine data for weekly reports, ensuring accuracy for submission to quality and production teams.
Collaborate with quality engineers to align testing with control plans, poka-yoke requirements, and IATF standards.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for test failures or production issues.
