Our multidisciplinary team delivers high-quality mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design solutions for large-scale projects including factories, warehouses, data centers, commercial buildings, and pharmaceutical facilities.
What will you do
The Medior HVAC Engineer will support the senior engineering team in the design, analysis, and documentation of HVAC systems for industrial and building projects. This role bridges the gap between junior
designers and senior engineers, requiring the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team.
Key responsibilities:
Design & Engineering
• Develop HVAC design packages including equipment selection, duct/pipe sizing, load calculations, and system layouts.
• Perform HVAC load calculations using HAP, IES-VE, or equivalent software.
• Design systems including AHU, FCU, chilled water, VRF/VRV, ventilation, pressurization, and smoke control.
• Prepare and review design drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP (BIM).
• Develop technical specifications, equipment schedules, and material take-offs (MTO).
Project Execution (EPCM)
• Support Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Management phases as required.
• Coordinate HVAC scope with other MEP disciplines (electrical, plumbing, fire protection).
• Review vendor submittals, shop drawings, and technical data sheets.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections, and commissioning support activities.
• Assist in preparation of technical bid evaluations and vendor comparisons.
Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare design basis reports, calculation packages, and technical narratives.
• Maintain project documentation and drawing registers in accordance with project standards.
• Support production of BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimation for HVAC works.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary design reviews and respond to RFIs (Request for Information).
Quality & Standards Compliance
• Ensure designs comply with applicable international and local codes: ASHRAE, SMACNA, QCVN, TCVN, and client standards.
• Participate in internal design reviews and quality checks.
• Identify and flag design clashes and technical risks proactively.
