Job Summary
Gardenline has a successful 30 years operating history, commencing in 1992 as a modest
import and distribution operation to become one of the leading exporters of outdoor
furniture. We are looking for an Merchandise Officer who is responsible for updating and
following-up Orders from Factory to Customer and ensure all information updated on time
and accurately.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Receive orders and place orders to Furniture factory/supplier.
• Track orders from issuing order to shipment.
• Work with suppliers on shipping schedules, pricing, and order-related issues
• Update information about orders, shipping schedules or changes from customers and
technical departments accurately and quickly.
• Coordinate with related departments -
purchasing team, QC and production team to
ensure that orders are placed on schedule and on schedule.
• Track and check inventory, pre-orders
• Update weekly reports for CEO (GLG order status report, Bulk Order; shipment schedule)
• Weekly entry of remaining Orders for accounting department and Capital team
• Other tasks as assigned by CEO and Line Manager
• University/College Degree in Import/Export, Business administration...
• Knowledge of Production costing, Outdoor Furniture (Wood/Textile/Cushion)
• At least 05 years of experience in
Merchandiser Position
• Fluency in both verbal and written English
• Good at Microsoft Office software
• Strong in Negotiation Skill, Time-Management Skill
• Ability to lead, manage a team to work with efficiency
• Integrity, responsibility, initiative in work
• Independent and able to work under pressure
• Approachable & a team player
• Attention to details & customer-focused
• Be willing to travel
