Overall responsibility for the acquiring merchants to accept electronic payment via bank's services with the sales strategy that fit with Vietnam market. On-boarding profitable merchants is the main key of this role. Also, increasing electronic payment acceptance amount of the merchants is another area that this role shall cover. In addition, this role is responsible for working with the merchant acquiring product team and branch management team.
Oversees the development and implementation of sales strategies to penetration electronic payment acceptance in Vietnam market with the aim to drive the increase of Merchant Sales Volume (MSV). Responsible for managing the identified key merchant relationships. The person taking this role should be able to understand and communicate local market needs to the merchant sales.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for business target e.g. revenue, number of merchant, payment volume, etc.
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective merchants
- Reach out to potential merchants through cold calling or on-site visiting and follow up with proposed merchants
- Managing key strategic merchant partnerships and relationship deepening for acquiring business in order to increase merchant sales volume
- Understand Vietnam market for acquiring business and gather merchant's requirements to help in business improvement, system enhancement and marketing promotion
- Engaging in merchant business portfolio growth through partnership with enterprise teams in the development of new merchant acquisition opportunities building strategic merchant relationships with potential growth
- Planning and executing sales approach to acquire new merchants to meet the specified target for short and long terms
