Middle - Senior QA Test Automation Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks covering unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing scenarios.
• Build comprehensive test suites targeting API layers (REST, WebSockets), real-time data pipelines, and interactive frontend workflows.
• Integrate automated test suites directly into continuous delivery pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) for instant build validation and automated quality gates.
• Partner directly with software engineers and product managers during design phases to define clear acceptance criteria and platform testability requirements.
• Contribute to non-functional, load, stress, and conformance testing as the platform approaches go-live milestones to ensure high availability and sub-second latency.
• Track, document, and report on automated test coverage, regression defect trends, and root-cause analyses.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software quality engineering with a heavy focus on Test Automation.
• Experience building object-oriented or modular automated test frameworks from scratch using Python or TypeScript (e.g., PyTest, Playwright, Cypress, or custom API test harnesses).
• Strong experience testing backend service interfaces and real-time protocols, including RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
• Hands-on experience embedding automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working with containerized testing environments (Docker).
• Deep theoretical and practical mastery of testing methodologies: boundary value analysis, integration contracts, component mocking, and test pyramid strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for collaborating with distributed engineering teams and writing clear technical documentation.

• Experience with high-throughput load and performance testing tools such as Locust, k6, Gatling, or JMeter.
• Familiarity with testing event-driven or real-time streaming architectures (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, WebSockets).
• Comfortable developing, debugging, and running test suites within Linux-based operating systems and container networks.
• Background in financial technology (Fintech), capital markets, trading platforms, or regulated software environments.
