ABOUT THE JOB
Responsible for providing on-site support and maintenance for network infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware and connectivity within main offices. This role requires a practical, solutions-focused individual who can perform physical tasks related to network equipment and collaborate with remote engineering teams for troubleshooting and incident resolution.
Onsite support services and coordination for Vietnam meeting room spaces including premium and priority rooms. This will involve proactively servicing and facilitating in-room equipment, testing and monitoring.
Onsite support for the audio visual component of NAB Events in Vietnam. This will involve the planning, set-up and running of Zoom Meetings, Webinars, Events and hybrid events.
YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, replace, and cable network hardware such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Perform routine equipment checks, patching, and basic diagnostics as directed by remote engineers.
- Respond promptly to service requests, incidents, and scheduled maintenance activities, often outside normal business hours.
- Document all site activities, changes, and issues in accordance with organisational procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and asset tracking of network devices.
- Support the implementation of network upgrades and rollouts as required.
- Support of day-to-day BAU operations for all VC, AV, & Digital Media services, including support and maintenance of premium spaces.
- Provide onsite and remote support for all facets of Zoom Meetings, Webinars and Events.
- Comply with occupational health and safety standards while working in technical environments.
- Support events and provide after-hours assistance when required.
- Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.
Yêu cầu
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- Experience in hands-on network support, ideally within large office environments.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, and common networking protocols.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and communicate clearly with remote teams.
- Familiarity with rack-mounting equipment, cable management, and basic power management.
- Some experience supporting AV/VC services within large office environments.
- Knowledge of video conferencing and webinars.
- Strong problem-solving attitude.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are highly regarded.
- On-site work, sometimes requiring after-hours or weekend support
- Physical tasks including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
