1. JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for AI Research Engineers across Junior, Senior.
Project Description: You will work on AI-driven knowledge discovery and acquisition systems that explore, search, collect, integrate, and synthesize information from structured and unstructured data across millions of websites.
Our research focuses on developing advanced techniques and systems for knowledge discovery and acquisition, with applications such as:
Context engineering
Information integration
Market intelligence
We build:
Vertical search engines
Community knowledge services
You will collaborate with:
Professor Kevin Chang (CS @ UIUC)
Senior engineers at Cazoodle, Hanoi
Senior graduate students at UIUC
Work remotely or from our Hanoi office.
Responsibilities:
Research, explore, and apply state-of-the-art AI/NLP techniques to knowledge discovery and acquisition problems.
Design experiments, evaluate results, and document research findings.
Develop and experiment with models and techniques for LLMs, embeddings, information retrieval, and information extraction.
Research methods for collecting, processing, integrating, and analyzing web-scale structured and unstructured data.
Explore techniques to extract meaningful knowledge, discover patterns, and generate insights from large-scale information sources.
Work with engineers to translate research findings into practical solutions and deploy them in real-world systems.
2. REQUIREMENTS:
1+ years of experience for Junior; 3+ years for Senior
Strong communication skills in English.
Ability to understand and reproduce academic research.
Experience or strong understanding in:
NLP (IE, embeddings, NER, etc.)
LLMs (GPT/BERT/transformers), API usage, or fine-tuning
Search engines and information retrieval
Data mining and large-scale data processing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information challenges into research problems.
Strong Python and ML framework experience (PyTorch/TensorFlow) is preferred.
Research publications or experience in knowledge discovery, information acquisition, or related fields is a plus.
