Job Description
Position Summary:
Rixos Phu Quoc is seeking a proactive Night Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, ensure guest satisfaction, and resolve issues promptly during night shift. The role acts as the property representative in the absence of senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Night Operations: Supervise all departments during night hours.
Guest Services: Handle late check-ins/outs, room issues, and guest concerns.
Safety & Security: Monitor property security and manage emergency situations.
Reporting: Prepare nightly reports and handover notes for day staff.
Staff Support: Assist and support overnight staff in completing tasks.
Qualifications
Sustainability: Commit to and maintain sustainable practices by enhancing resource efficiency, minimizing waste, and promoting eco-friendly, social, and ethical initiatives. Align with the hotel's broader ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) objectives to drive positive impact across all pillars of sustainability.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure full compliance with local legal requirements, international standards, health and safety regulations, company policies, ISO standards, and industry best practices. Continuously review and update operational processes to ensure alignment with evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
Food Safety & Hygiene: Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations by overseeing proper
purchasing, storage, handling, maintenance, communication, and preparation practices across all departments.
Skills:
Degree or diploma in Hospitality.
Prior experience in front office or hotel management.
Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position
