- Develop product concepts and designs for handbags, backpacks, and luggage for international brands based on Buyer Briefs, brand direction, market trends, target customers, functional requirements and target price points.
- Research and develop product concepts, silhouettes, shapes, functionality, materials, colorways, and design details to align with each brand's identity and project requirements.
- Create design concepts, sketches, mood boards, color and material proposals, and 2D design drawings for customer presentations and design reviews.
- Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings illustrating product construction, dimensions, structural details, materials, hardware, and design applications.
- Collaborate with Pattern Makers, the Sample Room, and the Merchandising Team to develop prototypes and physical samples.
- Refine designs based on customer feedback, product development direction, target costing, material and component availability, and manufacturing constraints.
- Track the design development process from concept development → prototype → sample refinement → final sample approval.
Yêu cầu
Portfolio required (bag, backpack, luggage, or soft goods projects preferred).
- Good English communication skills.
- 1 year of experience in bag design, product design, fashion accessories design, or soft goods design.
- College or university degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, Garment Technology, or a related field.
- Proficient in hand sketching, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Good knowledge of layout and color, with a strong sense of visual balance and design aesthetics.
understanding of bag construction, materials, and sewing methods.
- Ability to collaborate with pattern makers and production teams.
- Creative, detail-oriented, responsible, and able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
