I. Job Responsibilities
Lead the 0-to-1 development and setup of all offline channels in the Vietnam market.
Identify and screen high-quality local distributors (with a focus on beauty, skincare, and cosmetics), establish the distribution system, negotiate and close contracts, provide ongoing empowerment, and drive distributors to achieve sales targets.
Develop differentiated channel strategies tailored to the characteristics of major retail systems, including Hasaki, Watsons, Guardian, and Medicare.
Conduct regular research on local Vietnamese consumer trends, competitor dynamics, and relevant policies/regulations; produce market analysis reports and adjust product portfolios, pricing, and promotion strategies accordingly.
Build and manage the local sales team; coordinate resources across HQ functions (Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and effective marketing execution.
II. Qualifications & Requirements
Experience & Background
5+ years of offline channel experience in the FMCG/CPG sector (prior experience in personal care, daily chemicals, color cosmetics, or home care is highly preferred), with hands-on experience in the Vietnam or broader Southeast Asian market.
Proven track record of successfully building a market from 0 to 1, with a deep understanding of the Vietnamese offline channel landscape (distribution network, retail formats, etc.).
Possess an established network of local beauty and skincare distributors/agents in Vietnam, capable of facilitating rapid partnership cooperation.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent business negotiation and account management skills; able to independently drive distributor signing and ongoing operations.
Strong results-oriented mindset with high execution capability and resilience; comfortable with expatriate assignments and frequent local travel within Vietnam.
Keen market insight to quickly capture Vietnamese consumer needs and competitor movements.
Language & Education
Bachelor's degree or above.
Proficiency in English as a working language; Vietnamese is highly preferred.
Chinese or a Vietnamese candidate who is fluent in Chinese.
