JOB DESCRIPTION
I'm looking for an intern (or two) for my business [protected info].
This is a news and analysis website for foreign investors doing business in Southeast Asia.
Our approach is to try and provide more balanced, objective analysis than other news outlets.
The role will involve interviewing people (business leaders, consumers, industry experts etc.) and then condensing those interviews into feature articles. Here is an example: Vietnamese Coffee and the Iran War: Prices Down, Input Costs Up.
The role involves finding and analysing data, fact-checking, and developing analysis that is clear and easy to read and understand.
It's an unpaid role, but I will teach you everything I know about how to create content that is interesting and engaging and helpful for foreign investors. This can be really useful if you intend to work with foreign firms in the future.
It is fully remote, with a flexible schedule, but you should expect a time commitment of around 10 to 20 hours a week, for three months.
This role is about critical, outside-the-box thinking. It is for curious people who like to ask lots of questions and have interesting ideas. I'm open to taking anyone who meets this criteria, but you will need to speak fluent English.
Relevant samples of similar media you have created in the past are helpful, if possible.
