About the Role
EVPS is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented VPS Operations Administrator to join our technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining VPS infrastructure to ensure stable, secure, and reliable system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain VPS servers, operating systems, and related services.
- Monitor server performance, uptime, resource usage, and system health.
- Perform server configuration, updates, backups, and routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server, network, and service-related issues.
- Monitor system security and implement appropriate security measures.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and server resources.
- Respond to technical incidents and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to improve system reliability and performance.
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux/Windows Server administration.
- Familiarity with VPS, networking, DNS, TCP/IP, SSH, and server management.
- Experience with server monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity and server security practices.
- Ability to work independently and handle technical issues responsibly.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Previous experience in VPS or system administration is an advantage.
