Our Operations Team ensures that everything runs like clockwork behind the scenes-managing warehouse activities, inventory flow, and fulfilment with precision and efficiency. From stock accuracy to timely dispatch, the team plays a crucial role in delivering a seamless end-to-end eCommerce experience. With a strong focus on process, coordination, and control, Operations keeps our promises to customers and clients every single day.
The part you will play
You will build and lead our data function from the ground up. You own system data reconciliations and Operations Dashboards, workflows using tools such as Python, SQL, and Google BigQuery to provide actionable business intelligence for critical e-commerce milestones and daily efficiency, and ensure Operations can trust every number we publish across our SEA markets.
What you will do
As our Operations Data Team lead you will build and lead our data function from the ground up. You own system data reconciliations and Operations Dashboards, workflows using tools such as Python, SQL, and Google BigQuery to provide actionable business intelligence for critical e-commerce milestones and daily efficiency and ensure Operations can trust every number we publish across our SEA markets.
As the Operations Data Team Lead you will take charge of :
Data Reconciliation Automation:
Design the data architecture: datasets, naming, partitioning, access control, cost limits
Write, optimize, and maintain complex queries using tools such as SQL and Python to extract metrics from transactional and behavioral datasets.
Manage data workflows and query executions directly inside Google BigQuery and Apps Script environments.
Maintain master data pipelines to ensure consistent cross-channel sync across e-commerce seller portals and digital storefronts.
Set the automation roadmap: rank manual reports by time saved and business risk
Business Intelligence & Dashboard Automation
Design, build, and automate core pipelines from OMS, WMS, and ERP into operational and executive dashboards using BI tools such as Looker Studio and Power BI.
Turn raw transactional, inventory, and fulfillment logs into high-level visual performance anchors for related stakeholders.
Define data quality rules, monitoring, and alerting; own incident fixes and root-cause notes
Conduct weekly and monthly reports
Hybrid Team Leadership & Mentorship
Manage, coach, and review the performance of a local team of data operations specialists.
Set up automated KPIs to track asynchronous throughput and quality metrics.
Establish clear workflows to align the team effectively.
Other tasks related to data reporting as per the lead's assignment.
Requirements
What we are looking for - the ideal profile
Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in data operations, data analytics, or tech-driven e-commerce operations, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Technical Skills: Good command of query tools and architectural familiarity with Google BigQuery are mandatory. Proven mastery over at least one modern dashboard ecosystem. Preferred for Google ecosystem synergy. Clear, structured thinking: breaks vague problems into steps, writes it down, checks assumptions
Industry Domain: Intimate familiarity with B2C/B2B retail e-commerce pipelines, marketplace seller backends, or modern digital logistics structures.
Language & Communication: Good business English proficiency to effectively align with regional reporting lines and guide the team execution squads.
