1.1. Vietnam Factory Production
• Responsible for all factory production activities: manufacturing, capacity planning, commissioning new lines and new products, housekeeping, delivering production outputs OTIF, communication of plant performance, compliance with ITL group rules/accreditations, Lean implementation, continuous improvement, capex execution, quality assurance, and cross-functional collaboration.
1.2. Human Resources - Staffing
• Ensure staffing levels, enforce rules & discipline, and comply with Vietnam labour laws or ITL guidelines (whichever is more stringent).
1.3. Health & Safety
• Ensure adherence to H&S regulations, compliance with Vietnam laws and ITL policies, proper chemical/material usage, and full compliance with international HSE standards.
1.4. Quality
• Implement QC procedures, review & resolve customer complaints, implement CAPA, work with QC & Sales on quality issues, and resolve material problems.
1.5. Sampling & Development
• Execute product development requests, advise design improvements, highlight production restrictions, and ensure routing sheets are completed.
1.6. Manufacturing Efficiency
• Collect and measure shop floor data, optimize outputs vs best in class, reduce downtime, control wages & overtime, maximize machine utilization, eliminate waste, execute production plan on time, and continuously improve efficiency.
1.7. Waste Control
• Measure waste, benchmark against best in class, establish waste-minimizing procedures, propose corrective actions, and improve raw material waste to below targets.
1.8. Maintenance
• Maintain machines, train operators for daily maintenance, manage spare parts, pursue lower cost suppliers, follow procurement rules, implement planned maintenance, keep machine records, track downtime, and manage mechanic utilization.
1.9. Service Performance Management
• Meet the production plan, ensure OTIF, maximize capacity utilization, manage subcontracting, achieve customer satisfaction, and meet monthly sales targets.
1.10. Training and Development with HR
• Establish on-the-job training for workers, develop multi-skilled employees, include basic maintenance/quality/environment/HSE/best practices, keep training logs, develop succession plans, and identify in-house skill development needs.
1.11. Subcontracting
• Recommend subcontracting when needed, monitor subcontracted orders, maintain records for review, and ensure quality meets specifications.
1.12. Brand Protection
• Follow procedures for correct disposal of labels to protect customer brands.
1.13. Budgets/Reviews
• Assist with preparation of budgets, quarterly reviews, and other financial/operational reviews.
1.14. Other
• Perform any additional tasks required by the business or General Director.
Yêu cầu
• Proven experience in production management, preferably within a similar industry
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
• Fluent in both English and Vietnamese
• Technical background is an advantage
• Knowledge of or experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kanban, TOC, Kaizen, etc. is a plus
• Exposure to and involvement in ESG and HSE programs is advantageous
• Experience in the garment or printing industry is a plus
