Evaluate credit worthiness by processing loan applications and documentation
Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of granting loans
Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up debt payment plans
Communicate with clients via phone/ direct meet / site visit the mortgage or customer's addresses either to request or to provide or to verify information and assess the customer credit worthiness and background.
Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions
Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services
Assess customer needs, explore all options and introduce different types of loans to develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services
Build trust relationships, customer loyalty and satisfaction throughout the underwriting process
Οperate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines
Yêu cầu
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
Good interpersonal and communication skills in English
Good math and computer skills
Proven working experience as a Loan Officer
Solid understanding of lending products and practices
Comprehensive understanding of lending regulations
Excellent communication, customer-service, and time-management skills
Highly detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic, strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency, high responsibility in teamwork
High self-motivated and committed
Ability to pass a background check
