Job Purpose
This position is responsible for the design, development, and coordination of on board piping systems integrated with mechanical equipment.
The position is open to both fresh engineers and experienced professionals, with responsibilities assigned according to skill level and experience.
For All Levels
• Design and develop on board piping ((hydraulic, lubrication, cooling, air, grease) based on mechanical 3D models, P&IDs, hydraulic/lubrication diagrams, and project specifications.
• Create and maintain 3D piping models ensuring correct routing, accessibility, and no interference with moving parts using AVEVA E3D or similar tools.
• Prepare piping arrangement drawings, isometrics, support drawings. Generate and check piping Bill of Material (BOM) aligned with PLM and ERP requirements.
• Ensure correct identification and positioning of take over points (TOPs), grease points, service connections...
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and civil teams to resolve layout and interface issues.
• Apply relevant international codes and standards (EN, ISO, DIN, ASME, ASTM, etc.) and internal engineering standards
• Ensure compliance with safety, maintainability, and quality requirements.
Additional Responsibilities - Professional Level
• Independently develop complete on‐board piping concepts and layouts from early design to release.
• Ensure piping design considers machine movement, maintenance access, safety, and installation constraints.
• Review and check piping models, drawings, and BOMs for technical quality and completeness.
• Act as technical reference for junior
designers and fresh engineers.
• Support site activities including problem analysis, design corrections, and as‐built updates when required.
