1. Project Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including land use, zoning, and entitlement strategies.
- Collaborate with senior management to define project goals, objectives, and success criteria.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and inform project feasibility.
2. Entitlements and Regulatory Compliance:
- Manage the entitlement process, including rezoning, land use approvals, environmental assessments, and permit acquisitions.
- Liaise with local government agencies, community stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to secure approvals and permits.
- Ensure compliance with zoning ordinances, building codes, environmental regulations, and other legal requirements.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate relationships with community stakeholders, neighborhood associations, and elected officials to garner support for projects.
- Facilitate public meetings, hearings, and workshops to gather feedback, address concerns, and build consensus.
- Act as a spokesperson for the company, representing our interests in public forums and meetings.
4. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of planners, architects, engineers, and consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication, creativity, and innovation.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
5. Financial Analysis and Risk Management:
- Conduct financial analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to evaluate project viability and investment returns.
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial models to ensure profitability and mitigate risks.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the planning and development process.
6. Sustainability and Design Excellence:
- Integrate sustainable design principles and best practices into project planning and development.
- Champion design excellence, innovation, and quality craftsmanship to create vibrant and resilient communities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in urban planning and real estate development.
