Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Capacity Planning
• Lead production planning and scheduling activities based on customer demand, production capacity and material availability.
• Coordinate with Production,
Purchasing, Warehouse, Customer Service and Logistics to align production schedules.
• Monitor schedule changes and provide practical planning solutions when demand or capacity changes.
• Work with the Global / US Planning team to follow up demand updates and planning priorities.
2. Inventory Control
• Manage inventory control activities to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shortage risks.
• Work with related departments to identify inventory gaps, material risks and stock issues.
• Support actions to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, waste and production disruption.
3. Scenario Planning & Problem Solving
• Analyze planning scenarios when there are changes in demand, material supply, production capacity or shipment priority.
• Provide options, risks and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Ensure changes in plan are communicated clearly and implemented effectively.
4. Stakeholder Management
• Act as a key contact point between Planning, Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Customer Service and Global / US Planning.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders on planning status, risks and actions.
• Support cross-functional alignment to ensure production plans are realistic and achievable.
5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Prepare and improve planning reports, inventory reports and performance tracking.
• Use data to identify issues, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning process, inventory control process and team performance.
6. Team Management
• Manage, coach and develop the P&IC team.
• Set clear expectations, follow up performance and build team capability.
• Support team members in solving daily planning and inventory issues.
