We're looking for an experienced (Communications) Planning Manager to lead strategic planning and content direction across a portfolio of integrated communication projects.
This role is responsible for transforming business challenges into insight-driven communication strategies, leading the Planning & Content team, and ensuring every campaign delivers both strategic impact and creative excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning function across multiple client accounts and integrated communication projects.
Translate business objectives into integrated communication strategies through market research, consumer insights, cultural trends, and competitive analysis.
Develop communication frameworks, messaging architecture, creative briefs, and 360° channel strategies across PR, Digital, Social, Content, Influencer Marketing, and Brand Communications.
Lead and manage the Planning & Content team, providing strategic direction, coaching, and quality control to ensure high-quality outputs across proposals and campaign execution.
Work closely with Account, Creative, PR, Media, and Design teams to develop integrated communication solutions and compelling client proposals.
Guide the development of content direction, key messaging, storytelling, and editorial approaches to ensure consistency with the overall communication strategy.
Present and defend strategic recommendations, communication plans, and creative rationale to clients and internal stakeholders.
Provide strategic and creative validation throughout project execution, ensuring campaign outputs remain aligned with approved strategies and business objectives.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, timelines, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
Drive capability building within the Planning & Content team by introducing new methodologies, communication trends, consumer insights, and best practices.
Support new
business development by leading strategic thinking, proposal development, and pitch presentations.
Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted strategic advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related fields.
6-8 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Communications Planning, Content Strategy, or Integrated Marketing within an agency environment.
Proven experience leading integrated communication strategies across PR, Digital, Social, Content, Influencer Marketing, and Brand Communications.
Experience leading or mentoring Planning and/or Content teams.
Strong understanding of brand strategy, consumer insights, storytelling, and integrated communications.
Excellent strategic thinking, research, analytical, and storytelling capabilities.
Proven experience presenting strategic recommendations and pitching to clients.
Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and project management skills.
Fluent in Vietnamese and strong proficiency in English.
