Ensure the implementation and maintenance of safety, health, and environmental requirements according to Saint-Gobain standards, ISO 14001, and BS OHSAS 18001 systems.
Ensure incoming materials are controlled according to the standards applied at the factory.
Control the production process in various areas and ensure product quality on the production line.
Collaborate with the Production Shift Leader to enhance production efficiency based on QPC and related technical methods to ensure goods are produced according to the correct process and technical specifications that meet the applied standards.
Participate in resolving incidents (related to machinery, materials) during the shift.
Prepare incident reports using WCM tools, proposing solutions in each incident report.
Notify the direct manager and Production
Assistant Managers (or shift leader) if there are any abnormal parameters regarding equipment and materials.
Monitor the production plan to provide appropriate operating formulas such as: materials used, forming speed, etc.
Conduct trials of new products/new production processes as required by superiors. Prepare trial reports.
Additionally, implement, train, and supervise the production department in process control methods, production processes, when changing materials, new products.
Research and understand the installation of new equipment, replacement/repair equipment, or conversion of production processes. Objective: to understand potential future equipment failures that could affect product quality to plan for prevention and improvement.
Optimize energy usage (electricity, gas) by implementing and monitoring related projects (reducing water usage in the production process, optimizing sheet weight, etc.).
Establish production processes, quality control processes, incident handling processes, and provide implementation guidelines for relevant departments (QC, Production, WH, etc.).
Ensure product quality is maintained by implementing and managing quality control systems: ISO 9001, TPCQ.
Update monthly data on TPQC PILLAR (quality & process control).
Check that operators comply with production processes, quality control processes at various stages/areas. Document if they do not comply with the requirements that have been transferred and trained.
Perform other tasks related to the PQC department and other tasks outside the department as required by superiors.
