Unilever is hiring Procurement Assistant Manager - Packaging Bottles for 1 year contract



KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:



- General support the procurement manager in all aspects of her/ his role

o Support to implement a global procurement strategy for packaging

o Support delivery on the overall sustainability agenda.

o Assist in price benchmarking and negotiation preparation

o Support Thailand packaging team with all team tasks and overall targets



- Accountable and responsible for:

o Contract realization: tender preparation, managing process and final contract bookings with suppliers, this with the possibility to conduct the actual negotiation with suppliers of the portfolio.

o Initiate and conduct accurate price forecasting for this portfolio, with the support of the manager

o Follow volume requirements (together with market procurement and planning team)

o Responsible for day-to-day operational management of portfolio

o First point of contact for any operation related and maintain close collaboration with the SC team to ensure OTIF and quality of all materials in portfolio

o Administrative & reporting



Cost and Cash

o Commercial analyst function including reporting and analysis on savings, cash generation, Price-to-Price movement, complexity reduction

o Analyze reporting and track team's progress on above targets



Savings / Innovations

o Track savings and status on projects and partner with related parties to lead implementation of saving initiatives with country.

o Liaise with suppliers and development teams to realize saving projects

o Liaise and support finance to ensure on time reporting of saving, payment terms

o Coordinating within procurement global/market projects as needed



Sustainability

o Active role in ensuring achievement of sustainability as per the agreed timelines

o Participating in global packaging sustainability Telecoms

o Ensuring submission of relevant achieved sustainable quantities

o Coordinating conference calls with vendors and dairy sustainability bodies



Compliance

o Be responsible to ensure that all business partners are completely SQA and RS compliant and are registered in the USQS before any commercial transaction is initiated
