- Search, research, select, evaluate, and manage the suppliers.
- Build relationships and manage supplier data.
- Receive approved purchase requests; negotiate prices, terms regarding delivery, quality, payment, etc. The scope of goods and services includes raw materials, tools, equipment, consumables, spare parts, MRO materials & services, fabrication & installation services, office supplies, factory equipment, etc.
- Negotiate and draft contract terms; issue purchase orders and contracts to supplier. Monitor orders and contracts throughout the process from material preparation, transportation, delivery, to warehousing and payment completion; handle any arising issues.
- Coordinate with 3PL, and possibly 4PL in the future, and trucking services in handling international & domestics shipments.
- Respond to and promptly address issues with suppliers regarding defective goods, service performance violations, and breaches of quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with relevant departments (production, engineering, warehouse, accounting, administration, etc.) in order fulfillment and receiving processes, and payment support; coordinate in resolving/reporting incidents that arise during implementation.
- Understand and be familiar with
purchasing plans, production plans, technical requirements, and inventory status related to the purchase requests to be processed.
- Prepare and submit purchase documentation for approval.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports as required.
- Other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors and direct line manager.
* Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and Saturday mornings online

- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement at a manufacturing company. Experience working at a foreign direct investment (FDI) company is preferable. Internship candidates with excellent academic achievements and a commitment to long-term employment are also welcome.
- Graduated from a college or a university - preferably those with degrees in engineering, mechanics, business, economics, or foreign languages.
- Experienced in handling 3PL, and possibly 4PL, experienced in checking international shipping documents and resolving related issues.
- Experienced in preparing and proofing sales contracts in English and Vietnamese languages.
- Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing) is required; candidates who can also use Chinese will have a significant advantage.
- Proficient in office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Good teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, confident, quick to grasp issues; honest, enthusiastic, and dedicated to the job.
- Willing to travel for business for up to 20-30% of the time.
