Position Title: Procurement & Sustainability Associate Director, Southeast Asia

Direct reports to: Head of Supply Chain, BU SEA
Dotted line reports to: Zone Procurement function
A. PURPOSE OF POSITION To oversee procurement management system and sustainability initiatives for our Southeast Asia (SEA) operations within the APAC Zone. This role is crucial for ensuring that our procurement practices are not only efficient and cost-effective but also sustainable, compliant and ethical. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic procurement management and a deep understanding of sustainability principles.
B. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Close cooperation with RPO/ GPO to ensure best-in-class strategies are developed and implemented in SEA.
Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for BU SEA that align with the company's sustainability objectives and support the business needs of Southeast Asia.
Oversee the entire procurement process, from identifying supply needs, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, to managing the delivery and performance of procured goods and services.
Establish and maintain robust procurement policies and procedures that ensure transparency, compliance, and best practices in sourcing.
Lead the procurement team in achieving aggressive cost-saving targets while ensuring quality and sustainability standards are met.
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities for strategic sourcing, value engineering, and risk mitigation.
Manage and optimize the supply base, ensuring diversity and inclusion, and fostering long-term partnerships with suppliers.
Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement to measure efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Champion sustainability across the procurement function, ensuring that environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria are integrated into supplier selection and contract negotiations.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align procurement activities with the company's overall sustainability and business strategies.
Ensure compliance with regional regulations and industry standards related to procurement and sustainability.
Develop people and build engaged and high performance procurement team.
C. BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field. Master degree is preferable.
Experienced in FMCG company is preferable.
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement management, with a proven track record in strategic sourcing and sustainability.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing (Good communication skill in both Vietnamese and English)
Skillful in computer software: Excel, Words, PowerPoint etc
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing procurement team.

Exceptional negotiation skills with a successful history of securing favourable terms with suppliers.
Proven ability to analyze market trends, supplier performance, and procurement data to drive strategic decision-making.
In-depth knowledge of procurement software and systems, including e-procurement platforms and digitalization.
