ROLES:
As the Product Assistant Manager for our luxury brands, you will be responsible for overseeing the selection, presentation, and profitability of our brands and assortments. Your role will involve collaborating closely with various departments such as marketing, and retail operations to ensure that our product offerings align with market trends, brand positioning, and customer preferences. You will play a critical role in maximizing sales and profitability by developing strategic merchandising plans, analyzing performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Product Selection: Curate and manage the assortment of products for our luxury brand, ensuring alignment with brand identity, target market, and seasonal trends.
2. Merchandising Strategy: Develop and execute merchandising strategies to optimize product placement, pricing, and promotion across assigned brands and channels. Collaborate closely with marketing, retail and operations teams in assortment planning, quality assurance and new product launch. Manage resource effectively to guarantee the success for the group brands.
3. Brand Principal Management: Build and maintain excellent relationships with brand principals to negotiate favorable terms, get commercial supports for our businesses and develop local merchandizing strategy to be in line with their global merchandizing strategies.
4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviors to make right merchandising decisions. Use competitors' market insights to define assortment and pricing strategy for the brands to meet both sales and profitability objectives.
5. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and sell-through rates to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory. Propose prompt solutions for Aged, Slow-moving and Damaged inventory.
6. Financial Planning: Collaborate with Finance and Retail teams to develop sales forecasts, OTB (Open-to-buy) budgets, and pricing strategies to achieve revenue, inventory and profitability targets.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Retail and Operations teams to ensure seamless coordination across departments and timely delivery of products.
8. Cross-functional Communication: Communicate merchandising strategies, product updates, and performance metrics effectively across all levels of the organization.
9. Continuous Improvement: Monitor industry best practices, evaluate competitor strategies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance merchandising effectiveness and drive business growth.
10. Team leadership: lead and develop a strong growth-mindset and result-driven product merchandizing team.
11. Additional tasks may be required following business needs

1. Qualification:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Fashion merchandizing or related field.
2. Knowledge:
· Strong knowledge about luxury fashion industry and customer behaviors.
3. Experience:
· At least 3 years of experience in product merchandizing, preferably in the luxury goods or fashion industry
· Proven track record of developing and executing successful product merchandizing strategy and plan that drive brand sales and profitability.
4. Skill and Competence:
· Fluent in spoken & written English.
· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to drive merchandising decisions.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
· Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for luxury fashion and lifestyle products
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and merchandizing analytics tools.
· Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
