Role SummaryThe Product Designer will play a key role in shaping the product experience and direction at Vietpay, working directly with the CEO and closely with product and engineering teams.
You will translate business and product goals into clear user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and polished product experiences that the development team can confidently execute. This is a hands-on role that combines strong product thinking with excellent design execution, from early concepts through to production.
Beyond individual features, you will help define the overall product experience, challenge assumptions, understand user needs, and contribute to product strategy and prioritization. This role offers a clear growth path toward broader product leadership, including the opportunity to develop into a Chief Product Officer (CPO) role as the organization grows.

· Translate product ideas and business requirements into clear user journeys, product flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
· Think beyond individual screens and consider the complete customer journey, business goals, operational processes, and long-term product direction.
· Identify gaps, unnecessary complexity, and opportunities to simplify or improve the product experience.
· Define edge cases, alternative flows, and expected product behavior before development begins.
2) Product Thinking & Decision Making· Work directly with the CEO and leadership team to turn business ideas into practical product solutions.
· Challenge assumptions and proposed solutions when there is a better approach, using user needs, business context, research, and clear reasoning to support recommendations.
· Present and defend product decisions clearly to senior stakeholders.
· Help determine not only how a feature should look, but how it should work and why.
· Balance user experience, business objectives, technical constraints, and delivery timelines when making product decisions.
3) Product Discovery & Validation· Understand customer problems through research, feedback, data, and collaboration with business teams.
· Explore multiple solutions before committing to an implementation.
· Validate important product concepts through prototypes, user feedback, testing, or other appropriate methods.
· Use product metrics and customer feedback to evaluate existing experiences and identify areas for improvement.
4) Engineering Collaboration & Delivery· Work closely with engineering, sale and marketing teams to turn product concepts into buildable solutions.
· Produce clear flows, wireframes, prototypes, specifications, and supporting documentation that engineering teams can follow.
· Discuss technical constraints with engineers and adjust solutions without losing the original product intent.
· Review implementations and ensure the delivered product behaves as intended.
· Maintain clarity around product decisions, edge cases, and expected behavior throughout development.
5) Product Strategy & Leadership· Contribute to product strategy, prioritization, and roadmap discussions with the CEO and leadership team.
