• Collaborate with vendors, and product development team to troubleshoot product outlook, material, construction, and quality challenges
• Ensure product integrity by monitoring samples against brand standards for aesthetic outlook, materials and finishes
• Ensure designs adhere to licensor requirements, brand guidelines and manufacturing requirements
• Collaborate with development teams to refine concepts and bring ideas to life
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and merchandising, to define product vision and requirements
• Work closely with engineers and production staff to oversee the entire product development lifecycle
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform design decisions
• Knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices, analytical skills with the ability to interpret user feedback and data
Yêu cầu
• Passionate about design and innovation
• Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
• Preferably 2 years of experience in a product design role, preferably within the consumer goods industry
• Good hand-sketching and visualization skills with hands-on experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
• Open-minded approach to exploring new design ideas and techniques.
• Interested in licensing characters (Disney, Marvel, Stars War, Warner Bros, Nintendo, and Japanese Animation [protected info]).
• Understanding of plastic materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Portfolio demonstrating a range of successful product design projects
