1. Position Purpose
Finhay/FHSC is looking for a Senior Executive, Product Finance to support the Treasury & Investment function in evaluating, structuring, and monitoring financial products with funding and investment components, including savings-like products, HayBond, Hay0, margin lending, and the fixed-income portfolio supporting these products.
This role is responsible for translating business initiatives into financial assumptions, product economics, break-even analysis, internal funding cost considerations, risk observations, and concise decision memos for management review. The role does not independently approve investments, execute trades, or set company-wide funding rates.
2. Key Responsibilities
* Product economics: build and maintain product-level profitability analysis, including funding cost, matching asset assumptions, expected spread, liquidity buffer, campaign cost, and key sensitivity drivers.
* Pricing and financial parameters: support the development of interest-rate ranges by tenor, reinvestment offers at maturity, product return scenarios, and internal funding cost inputs so that Product, Growth, Treasury, and Management work from one consistent set of numbers.
* Investment and issuer analysis: review issuer financial statements, cash flow quality, collateral structure, repayment capacity, covenant conditions, and market comparables; prepare concise investment assessment memos with a clear recommendation for the Head of Treasury & Investment and the Investment Committee as applicable.
* Campaign break-even analysis: work with Growth/Product teams before campaigns involving interest rates or funding incentives; calculate break-even AUM, acquisition cost per funding unit, expected NIM after funding cost, and downside scenarios before implementation.
* Partner deal economics: support discussions with banks, fintech partners, fund managers, and other counterparties by defining required funding size, target funding cost, minimum acceptable spread, liquidity requirements, and financial conditions for deal feasibility.
* Governance and reporting: maintain supporting files, assumptions, and evidence trails for product finance decisions; contribute to portfolio, product, and management reports in line with Treasury & Investment governance requirements.
* AI-assisted workflow: use the team's AI tools to draft analysis and memos, while remaining responsible for checking data accuracy, validating assumptions, and finalizing the professional output.
3. Scope, Authority and Decision Rights
The role prepares analysis, recommendations, financial models, and decision memos for review and approval by the Head of Treasury & Investment, CIO/CEO, Investment Committee, or other authorized approvers under the company's governance framework.
The role does not execute securities transactions, approve investments, approve exceptions outside limits, or make final decisions on product pricing, funding allocation, or partner deals.
Where a proposal falls outside approved limits or policies, the role is responsible for clearly identifying the exception, quantifying the financial and risk impact, and preparing materials for the appropriate approval level.
4. Key Deliverables
Product economics model for key funding-related products, updated with source-based assumptions.
One-page issuer/investment assessment memos with clear gate recommendation: Go / Conditional Go / No Go.
Campaign break-even and sensitivity analysis before campaign launch.
Financial terms checklist for partner deals and product initiatives.
Assumption logs, source references, and version-controlled working files for review and audit trail.

Ability to build financial models in Excel/Google Sheets, including spread analysis, weighted average cost of funds, NIM, break-even AUM, tenor assumptions, and sensitivity analysis.
Ability to write concise analytical memos: conclusion first, numbers supported by sources, risks stated clearly, and recommendations suitable for management review.
Understanding of funding cost, FTP, NIM, tenor matching, liquidity buffer, bond portfolio economics, and retail investment/funding products.
Comfortable learning through documentation, templates, and AI-assisted tools; able to take ownership without requiring detailed step-by-step instruction.

The role will work directly with the Head of Treasury & Investment and interact with Product, Growth, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and external counterparties where relevant.
The team works with structured templates, documented workflows, AI-assisted drafting, and periodic red-team review. Direct challenge on assumptions and numbers is part of the working culture. The expected standard is clear thinking, traceable data, timely delivery, and ownership of final output.
8. Onboarding Roadmap
Week 1: read the investment policy, team operating handbook, and recent memos; meet key team members; present back the team's workflow, templates, responsibilities, and decision process.
Week 2: complete the first campaign break-even analysis using an existing template, with AI-assisted drafting and self-checking of assumptions and numbers.
