YOUR JOBS:
1. Team Leadership and Oversight
Lead and supervise the design and product development teams to ensure high-quality outputs that align with the company's brand, quality standards, and production efficiency goals.
Review and approve product designs at various stages, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision and production capabilities.
Foster a collaborative, efficient working environment across the teams to meet deadlines and objectives.
2. R&D Coordination
Spearhead the coordination between design and R&D teams post-design to ensure product concepts are feasible and meet both technical specifications and market requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and technical teams to integrate necessary adjustments based on R&D findings.
Ensure all products meet functional requirements and market demands before moving to the production stage.
3. Product Information and Launch Schedule Management
Oversee the creation and completion of comprehensive product information packages, including technical specifications, design documents, and manuals.
Manage product launch schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines for product releases and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, sales, and production teams to align efforts.
Ensure all stakeholders are kept informed of progress, risks, and milestones.
4. Brand Development and Market Engagement
Lead initiatives to transition products from concept to market, working closely with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and operations.
Ensure products meet the brand's positioning, value proposition, and customer expectations in the marketplace.
Align product strategies with overall brand objectives, incorporating customer feedback to improve product offerings.
5. Collaboration with Supply Chain Teams
Work closely with the internal supply chain teams to establish and maintain quality benchmarks throughout the product lifecycle.
Ensure that suppliers, manufacturers, and production teams adhere to the required quality standards.
Monitor and resolve any issues related to product quality or production delays.
6. Competitor and Market Analysis
Conduct thorough competitor analysis to identify market trends, product strengths, and weaknesses.
Integrate market feedback into product development strategies to ensure continuous improvement of existing and new products.
Monitor customer feedback and competitor product launches to stay ahead in the market.
7. Data Consolidation and Design Costing Oversight
Oversee the process of consolidating product and financial data to support accurate design-stage costing practices.
Provide key insights into product cost optimization to ensure profitability while maintaining product quality.
Collaborate with finance and design teams to develop efficient and accurate costing models.
8. Product Data Management on Odoo
Manage the product data on the Odoo system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility for all relevant teams.
Monitor and update product details to reflect changes in specifications, pricing, availability, and other key information.
Ensure that all data is current and well-organized to support cross-departmental collaboration and efficient workflows.
