About the RoleSaladin is looking for a Product Manager with strong business analysis skills to help develop and improve our digital insurance products and platforms.
You will own assigned products or feature areas, translating business and user needs into clear priorities, practical solutions, and actionable requirements. Working closely with business stakeholders, Engineering, QA, and Design, you will guide initiatives from discovery through delivery and continuous improvement.
You will have the autonomy to manage priorities and solution decisions within your assigned scope, aligned with the overall product direction.
Key Responsibilities1. Product Planning and Prioritization
- Identify business problems, user needs, and product opportunities through stakeholder discussions, user feedback, and data analysis.
- Define product objectives, development plans, and roadmaps for assigned areas, aligned with business goals and the overall product direction.
- Own and prioritize the backlog based on business value, user impact, implementation effort, dependencies, and available resources.
- Define expected outcomes and success metrics; use feedback and data to evaluate results and guide further improvements.
- Align stakeholders on priorities and trade-offs; escalate significant changes to objectives, scope, or direction.
Business Analysis and Solution Definition
- Work with internal teams and external partners to clarify requirements, business processes, and operational needs.
- Analyze existing workflows and propose solutions that balance business objectives, user experience, and technical feasibility.
- Define business rules, user flows, and business scenarios, including exceptions, dependencies, and impacts on existing systems.
- Create and maintain PRDs, business specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze API documentation, data mappings, and integration flows in collaboration with Engineering and partners.
- Use SQL, Excel, or analytics tools to validate assumptions and support product decisions.
Product Delivery and Continuous Improvement
- Lead cross-functional coordination from discovery and requirements definition through design, development, testing, and release.
- Work closely with Engineering, QA, and Design to clarify requirements, review solutions, and resolve issues.
- Track progress, dependencies, and risks; manage scope and communicate changes promptly.
- Support UAT and confirm that delivered features meet agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate release readiness with relevant teams and monitor feedback and product performance after launch.
- Identify and prioritize improvements based on actual usage, operational issues, and business results.
Stakeholder and Team Collaboration
- Build alignment across business, operational, and technical teams.
- Communicate product decisions, priorities, and constraints clearly to different audiences.
- Facilitate constructive discussions, resolve disagreements, and help stakeholders reach decisions.
- Take ownership of follow-through and proactively drive issues to resolution.
- Share knowledge and contribute to better product documentation and team practices.
Requirements- Approximately 4-6 years of relevant experience in Product Management,
Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or a combination of these roles.
- Hands-on experience owning a digital product or feature area, including planning, prioritization, delivery, and post-launch improvement.
- Strong business analysis skills, with the ability to clarify complex, incomplete, or conflicting requirements.
- Proficiency in defining business processes, business rules, user flows, PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to analyze systems, understand API documentation, map data, and work with technical teams on integrations.
- Working proficiency in SQL, Excel, or equivalent tools for data analysis.
- Ability to balance business value, user needs, delivery effort, and technical constraints when making product decisions.
- Experience supporting testing, UAT, and feature acceptance.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
- A proactive approach, strong ownership, and the ability to adapt across multiple product areas and changing priorities.
- Willingness to share knowledge, support teammates, and improve team practices.
Preferred Experience- Insurance or Insurtech experience is preferred. Candidates from Fintech or bankingwith relevant business and systems experience are also welcome.
- Experience with e-commerce systems, payments, order management, commissions, renewals, or partner integrations.
- A track record of independently managing a product or feature area, with clear examples of decisions, contributions, and outcomes.
