Product Development & Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with senior management to develop and enhance financial products such as cash loan and BNPL products. Conduct market analysis, understand customer needs, and work with relevant stakeholders to collect, clarify, and prioritize product requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration (company stakeholder & partners): Serve as the key liaison between business units and development teams to ensure alignment on product objectives and delivery timelines. Engage with external partners to co-develop or integrate features that enhance product offerings.
Risk & Compliance Alignment: Work with risk, legal, and compliance teams to assess credit risk and ensure that all lending products meet regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Data-driven Insight: Collaborate with the
Data Analyst team to develop reports and dashboards that track key performance metrics. Leverage insights to identify customer needs and support data-driven product improvement.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a
Business Analyst/Product Owner in financial services, particularly in cash loans, lending, or related financial products.
In-depth understanding of lending products, e.g. cash loans, personal loans, installment loans, and line of credit products. Knowledge of loan origination, underwriting processes, credit risk assessment, loan servicing lifecycle, and financial regulations
Proven experience in running Agile teams as a Product Owner. Strong understanding of agile methodologies, backlog management, and feature prioritization. Experience with agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in banks or financial institutions (FIs) is preferable.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, Tableau, SQL or similar is a plus.
