The Product Specialist (Barista & Coffee) at Ly Gia Vien is a coffee expert and demo performer who combines technical knowledge of specialty café operations with storytelling that connects coffee origins, flavors, and brewing techniques. This role focuses on espresso, brewing methods, latte art, cold brew, workflow optimization, and equipment alignment. You will serve as both a barista trainer and brand ambassador, demonstrating how Ly Gia Vien's professional equipment and premium ingredients empower cafés, hotels, and F&B operators to deliver world-class coffee experiences.
Coffee Expertise & Menu Development:
- Demonstrate mastery in espresso extraction, brewing methods (pour-over, siphon, French press, etc.), latte art, and cold brew.
- Design and test coffee menus tailored to specialty cafés, hotels, and restaurant coffee programs.
- Provide workflow recommendations for efficient bar and café operations.
- Adapt global coffee trends for the Vietnamese market, including signature drinks and coffee-based innovations.
Demo & Client Engagement:
- Conduct live and virtual coffee demonstrations showcasing equipment and techniques.
- Train client barista teams on calibration, consistency, and workflow optimization.
- Communicate coffee flavor storytelling, linking origin, roast, and brewing method to customer experience.
Sales &
Business Development Support:
- Partner with BDRs and AEs during discovery calls and demo stages, validating coffee solutions.
- Support onboarding with barista training and café operations guidance.
- Identify opportunities for cross-sell/upsell (e.g., grinders, brewers, espresso machines, accessories).
Brand & Communication Contribution:
- Collaborate with the Communication team to produce coffee recipes, brew guides, trend content, and barista videos.
- Represent Ly Gia Vien at coffee festivals, barista competitions, and industry events.
- Act as a thought leader in specialty coffee, elevating Ly Gia Vien's reputation within Vietnam's coffee community.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Proven 2-3 years of experience in R&D Beverage (Barista -
Bartender) roles, ideally in specialty cafés, bar, hotels.
Background in training, specialty coffee / cocktail is preferred.
Experience in beverage competitions, beverage training, or beverage consulting is a plus.
Strong expertise in espresso, latte art, brewing methods, and cold brew.
Familiarity with beverage workflow design, efficiency, and specialty coffee operations.
Confident trainer and presenter, able to inspire both professionals and clients.
