Production Engineer

The Production Engineer will provide support to development teams to produce prototypes and follow up product life cycle and propose process improvement
Tasks specific for NPI :
- To act as the interface/link between the research and development and manufacturing departments (tooling, bill of materials, product modification, etc.)
- Create the work instruction for each new products
- Monitor the progress of the different phases of product validation
- Ensure the testability/manufacturability of products in collaboration with engineers, designers & PMM (DFM, PFMEA)
- Provide technical support to the workshops as needed
- Create the production routing
Tasks specific for Production :
- Develop or have developed manufacturing equipment (fixtures, tools, poka yoke...) or testing equipment (test benches...).
- Update the manufacturing file ontime based on ECN, customer, feedback, quality alert...
- Optimize production times by piloting new manufacturing processes
- Increase the Overall Equipemnt Effectiveness (OEE) of the lines
- Contribute to proposals for the layout of workstations to reduce Operator time
- Follow up production KPI
