SENIOR PROCESS & PRODUCTION ENGINEERSteel Fabrication & CoatingDolphin Logistics is looking for an experienced Senior Process & Production Engineer to join a professional industrial manufacturing environment, focusing on Steel Fabrication & Coating.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, standardize and continuously improve manufacturing processes, SOPs and process control systems.
Review product structure, production requirements, equipment capability, materials and potential manufacturing risks.
Manage and review BOM &
• Routing
, ensuring production routes, manpower, equipment and materials meet requirements.
Provide technical support related to:
Steel fabrication
Machining
Welding
Blasting &
• Painting
Raw materials and process exceptions
Final inspection and quality issues
Troubleshoot production and quality problems and implement corrective/improvement actions.
Drive Safety, Quality, Productivity, Efficiency, Capacity Improvement and Cost Reduction initiatives.
Support new product introduction, production trials, fixtures/tooling and process optimization.
Analyze production data and provide technical input for operational and quotation decisions.
Develop daily/weekly production schedules and monitor execution.
Lead, coach and develop the Production Team.
Maintain production records and traceability; support ERP data management.
Prepare weekly/monthly production reports and follow up improvement actions.
Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Technical and related departments.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical/industrial manufacturing.
Strong practical background in one or more of the following:
Steel Fabrication
Welding
Machining
Blasting
Painting / Coating
Good understanding of:
Manufacturing Process
SOP
BOM & • Routing
Process Control &
• Traceability
Production Planning
Continuous Improvement
Familiar with engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ProE or equivalent.
Good English communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership and organizational skills.
Able to work effectively under production pressure and tight schedules.
Preferred
Experience with Lean Manufacturing / Manufacturing Excellence / Lean Six Sigma.
Experience supervising or developing production teams.
Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing quality and safety practices.
