Production SupervisorJob Purpose:
Leading a section and a team of operators and / or production specialists within a Total Production Unit (TPU) manufacturing Sensors, Interface Devices and Semi-Finished Goods on-time, in-full and in the defined quality / safety and cost.
Major Accountabilities:
Setting, communicating and monitoring agreed Key Performance Indicator (KPI) to his / her team of production operators and production specialists and take necessary actions to achieve the KPI and escalate timely to TPU Leader, if it cannot be achieved
Ensuring operators and production specialists adhere to documentation. Verification and confirmation of the execution (e.g. MO routing, work instruction, 5S, safety...). Report or escalate if any problem found
Executing released Manufacturing Orders (MO), start and close on time to ensure delivery quantity aligned with Supply Chain Management's (SCM) request and meet the output, yield and productivity target according to agreed quality standard
Ensure good line balancing and effective utilization of resource in his / her line and keep head-count and capacity through regular update of Capacity Sheet accurate
Coordinating Production Setters / Central Department (M+S, QM, IE, ...) to ensure the availability of machines, workstations and tools for production and other related issues
Coach and counsel production operators and production specialists and take disciplinary actions if necessary to steer the team performance toward the expectations
Ensuring production operators and production specialists are qualified for the required competencies and skills to perform the job functions
Conduct periodical performance appraisal of production operators and production specialists
Executing administration tasks (e.g., maintain accuracy of production operators' and production specialists` attendance, overtime...) on HR related systems and administer performance or work-related allowances for production operators and production specialists
Accountable for the accuracy of inventory of direct / indirect materials and semi-finished goods, finish goods and Kanban items in production
Oversee and refine production processes, ensuring adherence to documentation and standards while driving continuous improvement (e.g. Lean Initiatives)
Role Requirements:
At least from Diploma's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, or related fields;
Excellent native language (Vietnamese), and intermediate English;
At least 2 years of experience in the role of Team- / Shift- / Line-Leader in manufacturing;
Good communication, problem solving skills, and knowledge of Lean concept;
Able to use Microsoft Office;
Open to work in shift (from Monday to Saturday);
