Hiring Company: Grandplaza Hotel
Senior candidates may be considered for supervisory/managerial responsibilities
1. Procurement & Sourcing
Handle purchasing activities for hotel departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, etc.)
Source suppliers, collect quotations, and compare prices
Review purchase requests and ensure alignment with operational needs
Receive and inspect goods upon delivery
2. Vendor & Contract Management
Maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers
Support contract review and negotiation (Manager level leads)
Monitor supplier performance and pricing
3. Inventory & Cost Control
Coordinate with Finance and Storeroom for inventory management
Avoid overstocking or shortages
Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities
4. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies
Maintain purchasing records, contracts, and reports
Support audit and reporting processes
5. Team Coordination & Reporting (If you are a Senior candidate)
Supervise
purchasing staff and daily operations
Prepare reports on purchasing performance and cost savings
Work with department heads for procurement planning
Common Requirements
Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
Basic English (Korean is a plus)
Good communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
Purchasing Executive (Staff)
Minimum 1-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
Ability to check quotations, prices, and basic contracts
