In this role, you will be responsible for tasks in Purchasing department, using your skills to process and analyze large volumes of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including other departments and VINFAST's partners, to create cutting-edge solutions, drive the company's success and to propel our global expansion within the automotive sector/industry.
Job Responsibilities
• Identify quantity requirements, types of goods, and prepare purchase proposals
• Inquire, evaluate and select suppliers according to the approved supplier panel, specifications, quality expectations, and market competitiveness; ensure commercial, technical and quality requirements are achieved
• Implement bidding process to choose the most suitable suppliers
• Negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives
• Support in development of purchasing strategy
• Maintain good relationship with current suppliers and expand new suppliers
• Research and monitor industry trends (sourcing, technology, market price)
• Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers and relevant internal departments, and stakeholders
• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
• Propose solutions to save costs and improve product quality
• Conduct other procurement related tasks as assigned
