About the Role
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced Purchasing Team Leaser to join our supply chain team. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth material procurement, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and supporting timely production.
Responsibilities
• Follow up and manage the purchasing process for all raw materials for production and sample orders
• Create POs & obtain necessary approvals, and place POs in the ERP system according to the production plan
• Monitor delivery schedules & coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues related to quality, delivery delays, and safety stock
• Negotiation with suppliers regarding material quality issues and compensation
• Negotiate & sign contracts with both domestic and international suppliers
• Provide timely updates on delivery status and quality concerns
• Follow up payment matters between the accounting department and vendors
• Source and evaluate new suppliers as requested upper manager
• Conduct regular audits and supplier evaluations
• Prepare weekly reports for the Supply Chain Manager
• Other duties as assigned or discussed during the interview process
Yêu cầu
• Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistic & Supply Chain Management, Economic, or related fields
• Experience:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in purchasing materials for production, preferably in the soft goods industry such as footwear, garment, etc
- Minimum 1 year in a Team leader role
• Language Proficiency:
- Good/proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Technical Skills:
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Experience working with ERP systems
• Other Skills:
- Good communication & negotiation skills and interpersonal skills for effective interaction across various departments
- Proven ability to work independently
- Honest, adaptable, and proactive in managing urgent changes
Additional Information
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Salary: Competitive & negotiable based on qualifications and experience
