About the role
We are looking for a QC Engineer to join the Lumin Sign team at DSV. You'll be working in a fast-paced, AI-augmented environment where the team uses tools like Linear, Notion, Cursor, and AI assistants to ship features quickly - so adaptability, ownership, and a proactive mindset matter as much as testing skills.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with
Product Owners and
Developers to understand project requirements and user stories.
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases (manual and E2E) for new features and existing functionalities of web applications.
Perform various types of testing:
Functional, Regression, Integration, and UI/UX testing.
Compatibility testing (across different browsers and devices).
Security testing (basic understanding and execution).
API testing: design and execute test cases for GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman to ensure data integrity and business logic correctness.
Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor) and team-defined prompts/skills to write test cases and E2E tests faster.
Manage and track issues using Linear; maintain test documentation in Notion.
Work closely with developers to reproduce, perform root cause analysis, and confirm defect resolution.
Proactively identify risks and raise issues early - without waiting to be asked.
Actively participate in Agile meetings (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings).
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments.
Analyze test results, prepare reports, and provide testing progress status updates.
Your skills and experience
Must have
5 years of professional QA/testing experience, specifically with web-based applications.
Solid manual testing skills - able to hit the ground running without heavy onboarding.
Proven experience designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test cases and test plans.
Experience writing E2E tests and basic coding ability; knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.
Practical experience with API testing using tools like Postman, primarily with GraphQL APIs.
Familiarity with issue tracking tools (e.g., Linear, Jira, or equivalent).
Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and browser dev tools for debugging.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Self-driven and proactive - takes ownership, flags issues early, works well independently in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Fast learner - can quickly pick up new tools, workflows, and processes.
Nice to have
Experience with Playwright (or similar E2E frameworks);
experience writing tests in TypeScript is preferred.
Comfortable using AI tools (Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini) to boost productivity - writing test cases, generating test data, reviewing scripts.
Familiarity with Notion for documentation.
