POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for developing and implement the best quality process and practice for developments, maintain monitor and ensure highest quality in services of the plant. The position integrates EHS&Q into the company's standard business practices and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. This position will maintain and improve upon the Quality Assurance (QA) function to ensure compliance with industry regulations and certifications, facilitating the implementation of QA best practices within the organization. This position is also responsible for company personnel in safe and proper application of EHS&Q activities and techniques, and for monitoring and periodically auditing the various departments to assist in raising EHS&Q awareness and compliance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
• Plan and implement programs to train facility staff in work site quality practices.
• Compile and submit reports required by regulatory agencies and corporate personnel.
• Act as the subject matter expert regarding quality and governmental regulations for the plant.
• Develop and implement Quality plans, policies, and procedures in compliance with local, regional, and national laws and regulations, including document control of DDCC Library and certification attainment.
• Develop a method statement for the activity, including risk assessment, job safety environmental analysis and inspection.
• Test plan and checklist based on project specifications.
• Manage to lift all equipment, handle the efficient storage of all hazardous materials, and perform quality audits per the required schedule.
• Monitor and record all site/plant activities and analyze all processes to ensure all work meets quality requirements.
• Perform quality audits per the required schedule.
• Carry out audits for ISO 9001,14001 and OHSAS 18001 and recommended the necessary corrective action and measures. Monitor and control all nonconformance issues and undertake remedial action.
• Develop and provide training about QA related topics and assist the resolutions of quality related problems.
• Ensure safety is adhered to at the site /plant.
• Plan and perform quality control inspections.
• Review procurement documents to ensure appropriate quality controls are specified.
• Support management and staff with QA services, as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
