1. Oversee all quality assurance and control systems / processes practiced in production, cutting, and embroidery to ensure adherence of quality standards, as per customer specifications and requirements & create awareness related to quality aspects
2. Direct quality executives and technicians to sound proactive participation in pre-production meetings and effective involvement in Quick Change Over activities, line feedings & set Accepted Quality Level (AQL) standards to make decisions
3. Gather information on day-to-day quality issues and provide subordinates with quality decisions, suggestions and action plans in order to maintain the smooth production process
4. Proactively identify quality trends, change systems, allocate resources and implement new systems to meet customer requirements and get involved in Factory Certification Auditing (FCA) process by maintaining strong relationship with auditors and customers' representatives
5. Develop team skills, encourage team performance, design and conduct training and skill development programmes
6. Ensure proper documentation for reference in case of a failure in the final shipment, quality issues and review quality reports to facilitate management decision making
7. Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by management
