Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring product and process quality in metal stamping and assembly operations. The Quality Engineer identifies quality issues, drives root-cause analysis, implements corrective actions, and supports continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and control product/process quality in stamping and metal assembly lines.
Develop and maintain Control Plans, Inspection Standards, Work Instructions, and FMEA.
Perform root-cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, and other quality tools.
Handle internal quality issues, customer complaints, and corrective/preventive actions.
Monitor quality KPIs such as PPM, FPY, Scrap, Rework, and Defect Rate.
Conduct process/product audits and support internal and customer audits.
Work closely with Production, Engineering, Tooling, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
Support new product introduction and quality activities such as APQP/PPAP when required.
Drive continuous improvement, defect reduction, and Poka-Yoke/Kaizen activities.
Yêu cầu
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering in manufacturing; experience in metal stamping/assembly is preferred.
Good understanding of technical drawings, GD&T, SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plan, and 8D.
Familiar with measuring tools such as caliper, micrometer, gauges, and CMM is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Good command of MS Office/Excel; Minitab or Power BI is a plus.
Good English communication and technical reading skills
