Program Manager Job description
POSITION LOCATION
Based in Hanoi, Vietnam
POSITION REQUIREMENT
Education
Master's Degree in Social Science, Sociology, or other relevant degree
Knowledge/Skills
Demonstrated analytical & critical thinking skills
Ability to coordinate and network effectively
Proven ability to work independently and in a team setting and show initiative in developing innovative approach
Strong management, organizational and administrative skills
Ability to effectively manage teams. Excellent employee development and management skills. Knowing when to coach, when to advise and when to provide specific direction
Excellent diplomatic skills and proven ability to work effectively with government officials, partners, donors and stakeholders at high level
In-depth knowledge on social work, gender equity, violence against women and girls, human trafficking, sexual abuse, etc.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel and other relevant software
Fluency in written and spoken English
Understanding of Hagar's mission and values
Experience
Minimum 5-year experience in project management and coordination and monitoring and Evaluation.
Experience in fundraising activities
Experience in interpersonal interaction and at least 3 years in team management.
