1. Production Planning & Control
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for all processing steps (shelling, drying, peeling, grading, packing).
Monitor production targets and adjust manpower, machines, and resources to meet deadlines.
Optimize yield and reduce wastage through continuous process improvement.
Analyze line performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
2. Quality & Food Safety Compliance
Ensure products meet customer specifications and industry grading standards.
Enforce compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO, BRC, and FSSC 22000 requirements.
Implement routine hygiene checks and prevent contamination or infestation.
Coordinate with QC/QA on inspections, audit preparations, and corrective actions.
3. Workforce Management
Supervise shift supervisors, line leaders, and production staff.
Provide coaching, on-the-job training, skill enhancement, and SOP reinforcement.
Ensure discipline, workplace safety, and motivation within the production team.
Evaluate staff performance and recommend improvements or development plans.
4. Process Optimization
Review end-to-end workflow to reduce cycle time and improve productivity.
Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput.
Ensure all processes follow approved SOPs and update when improvements are made.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S).
5. Inventory & Cost Control
Coordinate with warehouse/stores to ensure availability of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging supplies.
Track production costs and implement strategies to reduce overhead and improve efficiency.
Oversee ERP entries related to production output, material consumption, and inventory.
Reduce process losses and maintain high kernel recovery percentages.
6. Reporting & Coordination
Prepare and submit daily production reports, variance analysis, and yield reports.
Collaborate closely with QC, Maintenance, Procurement, and HR to ensure smooth operations.
Report operational issues, machine breakdowns, or delays promptly to the Factory Manager.
Participate in management review meetings and provide production updates.
Yêu cầu
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or related fields.
Strong understanding of cashew processing stages, yield optimization, and grading methods.
Experience working in food manufacturing environments, preferably nuts or agricultural commodities.
Familiarity with food safety audits and international certification standards (BRC, HACCP, ISO, FSSC).
Excellent leadership and team-management capabilities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and decision-making skills.
ERP knowledge is an advantage.
English proficiency preferred.
