R&D Lab Technician

Collaborating with our cross functional teams, and reporting to the Manager, R&D located in Sri Lanka, you will:
- Ensure that all tested related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
- Perform inspection of Abrasion resistance, Blade cut, Puncture resistance, Tear resistance
- Perform ANSI testing following Global standard.
- Strictly follow operation procedure/guidance when operating equipment, tools to maintain smooth operation of equipment, tools.
- Ensure project timelines and objectives.
- Organize and management of all the equipment in Laboratory.
- Document and report test results.
- Checking consumables of the laboratory ensures that the supplies are always ready.
- Collaborate on continuous improvement of quality and environmental management system.
- Maintain 5S laboratory area.
- Other assigned tasks when required.
- Be part of training sessions whenever needed.
Education
Technical Chemistry of Associate degree or above.
English-write and speaking as a key position requirement.
Microsoft Excel, word, and power point good skills (good to have).
Job Experience
Experience in Quality control or Laboratory work is a plus, but not required.
Knowledge and Skills
Strong knowledge in:
· Working with Quality control/ Laboratory.
· Chemistry knowledge and experience.
· Glove production process (good to have).
Additional Requirements (travel, etc.)
Availability to travel for training and R&D meetings.
Working time: Mon - Fri (8 AM - 4:30 PM)
Shuttle bus: HCMC and Bien Hoa to Long Thanh
